There is something truly special about college towns, especially during the fall. Having gone to a smaller school that was not in a huge city, football and basketball seasons truly made the whole town and campus come alive. My favorite tradition was rolling the quad (with toilet paper) after a big team win. The North Carolina weather that time of year certainly didn’t hurt either. It is no secret to my friends that I love football season, even in the cold, but not having to deal with a harsh winter made game days in Winston-Salem that much better.
